#40- 0.10 mole of a compound other than water. Show calculations to verify this.
- I found the molar mass of NaCl by multiplying 0.10 moles by its total mass which was 58.48 grams and got 5.84 grams NaCl.

#49- The mass of any salt needed to make 250 mL of a 0.200 M solution. Show calculations which verify this.
-First, I converted 250 mL to liters which i got 0.250 L. I know that .05 moles of salt will make 0.25 Liters of a 2M solution. Then, to et it in grams i multiplied the mass of NaCl by .05 moles and got 2.9215 grams NaCl.
