#16- An alkane
-Propane is an alkane, and it is easily determined by the ending of the name "...ane." It contains a three carnon singly bonded molecule, its molecular formula is C3H8. Propane is normally a gas, but when compressed it is a transportable liquid. It is commonly used as a fuel for engines, barbeques and cntral heating. This is called a liquified petroleum gas.
